A 68-year-old Dutchman is lacking in Albania. The Ministry of Overseas Affairs confirms a report from Albanian media about this on Tuesday.
The person was exploring the gorges of the Osum River together with his spouse (64) when he was stated to have been swept away by the water.
The spouse was capable of save herself and reported to the police in Corovoda. She then went to a hospital for medical consideration. After the report, a search was instantly began, Albanian media report in regards to the incident on Monday afternoon.
The Dutch embassy is involved with the spouse of the lacking man, the ministry reviews. Consular help can be offered.
